Who makes the best single shot sled for AXSR?

Spun the 33xc barrel on and realized I never purchased a single shot sled 🤣.

I just shot my 33xc on my AXMC over the pass weekend. I pierced few primer even at low node. The range master who also a gunsmith suggested me send my bolt with firing pin to LRI for bushing. He told me a lot of AI with large firing pin having this issue.

I have been shooting a ton of 338 LM hand loads in my AXSR this year, knock on wood…. no pierced primers. I think I read somewhere that the AXSR bolt is already bushed? Or SFP?

I believe I read the same info on SH as well.

I’m sure one of the AI experts will chime in…

I'm not familiar with that cartridge, but if that rifle uses a standard AXMC 338LM mag you could print one. If you don't have the capability I could print one for you.

I'm not familiar with that cartridge, but if the rifle uses a standard AXMC 338LM mag, and you have the capability you could print an insert. I can send you an STI file.

This is the way unless you want to buy SFP bolt bodies and the 1.6mm firing pin assembly. Just make sure to send in all the LFP bolt bodies you have at the same time. If you go this route and buy a bolt body down the road for 308 just say, make sure you buy the SFP bolt body as your firing pin assembly is already turned down.

The AXSR has the 1.6mm (small) firing pins and bolts from the factory. No need to do anything.

After YEARS & YEARS of dreaming, it has finally come to fruition!! AI AXSA 6.5CM!!

Quick question on barrel swap on an AXSA: to change from 308 to 6.5CM, do I only need a new barrel or do I have to do something about the bolt too?

How does that Proof pre-fit shoot?

Had to go drop off and pick up some primers in the springs Saturday and made a little detour out to Buena Vista to the public range where I happened to meet a fellow man of culture shooting an ATX. Hands down the nicest public free range I've been to even if it only went out to 600yds.

I saw this picture on the precision rifle blog and it’s been my goal ever since. Have a loooong way to go.
I am getting there. I only have about 16,940 rounds left since I am still waiting for the rifle.
