The rust is. Thick. $75 308 barrel was doing well till the 5th shot.

Didn’t you just “upgrade” from NF ATACR to a ZCO like a month or two ago?View attachment 8453710
My AXSR’s participation trophy for taking second at a pistol match. And by participation, I mean participating in being home during the UPS delivery guy’s visit after getting home from the match. Time to see what all the hubbub is about.
I didDidn’t you just “upgrade” from NF ATACR to a ZCO like a month or two ago?
Nothing against it. Was trying to sell it to buy and try the SB636 with the TR2ID, but a guy on here offered this as a 1:1 trade so I said sure.Anything against the ZCO, or you just wanted to compare?
Yeah, just wow!Zco and Tt is even trade?
Interesting. Why? I only have the 7-35 ATACR, several SB 5-25s, and the new SB 6-36 to compare. And because this is a picture thread, AXMC 300NM with the SB 6-36 TR2ID (one of the first with the new reticle).I prefer the zco
Looks like you didn’t make any compromises… not even zero of them.
No paint=low social credit
Gen3XR FineWhat reticle you go with?
It’s ok, I’m going to buy the spray paint with my Star Card. Guaranteed social credit boost. It’s got the points cards crave! No paint=low social credit
Just wasn’t a fan of the reticle in the TT.Interesting. Why? I only have the 7-35 ATACR, several SB 5-25s, and the new SB 6-36 to compare. And because this is a picture thread, AXMC 300NM with the SB 6-36 TR2ID (one of the first with the new reticle). View attachment 8453997
What are your thoughts on the TR2ID? I plan to have my 6-36 swapped to that reticle eventually.Interesting. Why? I only have the 7-35 ATACR, several SB 5-25s, and the new SB 6-36 to compare. So far I like it, but I’ve only had one session with it at distance. It’s a good “sparse” tree reticle. I just shoot ELR at my own range, no comps. I only need the tree for when I run out of Elevation on the turret and need to hold over AND hold some wind. I have a Tremor 3, but it is sooo busy it is hard to spot misses. I also have a Mil-XT which I like a lot. This is very similar. I don’t know how it would be for comps, but for me I think it’s perfect. (WAAAY better than the P5FL with not enough info, and the GR2ID that looked even busier than the Tremor3 to me). What are your thoughts on the TR2ID? I plan to have my 6-36 swapped to that reticle eventually.
How many S&Bs will Dr Strangeglove buy this year? What are your thoughts on the TR2ID? I plan to have my 6-36 swapped to that reticle eventually.
Comp shooters , if you switch to upgraded followers. Keep an old mag around. Can only fit 10 in the new style. 11 in the ole style helps on the 12 round stages.
Give it a year, Magpul will release 50rd AICS and 100rd AXSR/MC drums#magchangesarehard

By went down do you mean it wouldn’t reset? Wouldn’t fire? Was firing without pulling the trigger? Was first or second sear out of adjustment? Working fine after hosing it out with some liquid?View attachment 8455548
Well…it went 4,287rds in AZ meth dust before it went down. I should have not been an asshole and just flushed it each time I tore it down rather than just hitting it with a brush. Popped the spare in and got back to work.

As in it wouldn’t recock the firing pin when closing the bolt. Nothing was adjusted on the trigger so it still sits adjusted as it came. Going to buy some brake cleaner and compressed air but it worked for a few cycles after a light fluid flush but then it stopped again. I’m not worried, just going to give it a good cleaning and blow out tonight.By went down do you mean it wouldn’t reset? Wouldn’t fire? Was firing without pulling the trigger? Meet the Barrett Mk22, brought to you by AI's un-neccessary trigger-fiddling experiments.Lighter fluid, brake cleaner etc all work fine. Seen a couple that had to be opened up completely...
Give me a 3 pos safety and an og trigger everytime baby

Good. I've found it sad that the AT has been sitting in the closet untouched...Almost time to get a ZCO on my AT-X, and put old glory back on the AT. Never thought I’d have one AI let alone 2.

Yes. Target indicators on the bars would have been nice also. I was mostly punishing berms but was nice to get to a matchDidn't realize you were at that match, it was a fun one despite the target failures.

MR2. In my spotter. Ffp. I like it to measure targets / misses and “pre shoot” stages

Can't you just lay down and shoot on the grass without a mat?A new range to me with grass even! First time there, gave the AXSA ES a spin. Just 4 benches, I'd have brought a shooting mat had I known it's primarily a prone range.

200 yards is the max that was available to me. Not sure what else they might have there longer. Can't you just lay down and shoot on the grass without a mat?
Can you shoot more than 200yds at this range?
Always take your mat. Even if planning to shoot off a bench, the mat placed on top of the bench makes things nicer all around.200 yards is the max that was available to me. Not sure what else they might have there longer.
Yeah I could have just laid down, but wasn't really dressed for grass/dirt. I figured they had good benches. Live and learn.

You’re a 308 AI shooter!! We’re better than that. We look for the dirtiest, muddiest, lowest water seepage spot to lay in. It’s who we are, it’s what we do200 yards is the max that was available to me. Not sure what else they might have there longer.
