I have a angle cosine indicator from sniper tools with the badger mount and the indicator lines have fallen out of the slots in the plastic cylinder . I have not had any luck contacting the manufacturer and I cannot figure out what they use for the indicator lines . The material that fell out is a highly visible red and very fragile making me wonder if it is some kind of paint . Any thoughts or fixes would be greatly appreciated !
Thanks .

Thought - you could fold over a thin piece of sandpaper and lightly rough up the slots then clean with denatured alcohol. Let dry while you shop the bright colors of nail polish at Walgreen's or Walmart. If you don't already own a roll of quality automotive masking tape pick one up on the way home. Next, mask the slots and paint. Before the polish dries, use your exacto or single edge razor blade to clean the excess polish off the masking tape, this helps to keep the wet polish from stringing if you pull the tape off too soon. Nail polish is very tough and durable for this kind of repair. If you have a wife or daughter with a suitable nail polish color you might be able to sweet talk them into letting you use one of their's.
