IWC (impact weapons components): https://www.impactweaponscomponents.com/product/qd-micro-mount/

Noveske: https://noveske.com/products/flush-qd-sling-mount/

I've read the Noveske must be installed with particular care, as (slightly?) over-torquing it will break the outer flange.

I looked at this Grovtec and it's 360 (not rotation limited), and I tried this Grovtec , but it sticks waaay down from the stock.

Using a two-point sling. Thoughts between the the IWC and Noveske? Especially if you've used both.

I installed one in my A2 stock for my .260 Rem.

It’s been so long, I barely remember what I did but I just looked at the material depth, drilled the initial hole making sure to avoid hitting the RET cavity, and epoxied it into place IIRC. I made the cut so it was a press-fit.

I can snap some pics if it will help.

I went with a grovetec, as I remember they had both 360 and limited travel

Installed great in a luthar stock, took my time, tapped the hole, covered the threads in JB weld and slowly screwed it in with the provided bit, easy and clean install.
