To begin, I am a college student that has been shooting all my life. In the past year I have begun to shoot long range. I purchased an ltr, topped it with a bushnell elite tac and have since been shooting it as often as fgmm 168s are available. I plan to begin shooting competition as this seems to be the best way to become a better shooter and I can't think of a better way to spend a weekend.
So, I have to have dbm and the ltr stock does not fit me well at all. A chassis system seems to be the answer to all the problems. I have settled between the rock solid and the mcrees, I have found information on both while lurking here and going to the websites of each. Mcrees states that it does not require bedding but others have said otherwise and rock solid makes no claim whatsoever. I would like some information to straighten things out before I make a purchase.
