it is. Summary is basically:

"The true story of the formation of Ian Fleming's 30 Commando unit, a precursor for the elite forces in the U.K."

Was like an old school War movie similars to "Where Eagles Dare".

If you are looking for a good war flick, give it a try. I found it at Redbox.

I thought it was a very good movie too. Bought the DVD; I want my grandkids to have access to it.

But also, like a lot of films that adhere to a true story; the ending seemed a bit anti-climactic to me. I mean, it ended just when I was expecting some more. Bears some resemblence to stories about the raid on Telemark.

I think Sean Bean is an excellent actor, especially in action stories; and he needs to be seen more often on the screen these days.

Chalked the ending up to the nature of Special Forces, but I agree with you, that another 15 minutes could have gone a long way to helping the ending.

Was a nice surprise to see an old fashion war movie.
