Hey fellas been a while since I've posted and in need of some ideas . I currently have a 700 in 6.5x47L in a manners stock . I like the manners but looking for something with more options and most of all more comfortable soooo. I've been looking at the jae 700 and the accuracy international ax chassis I like both but would like some options of owners of these stocks . Thanks fellas

Let me preface this with the fact that I use Manners T4A's
Ive seen both, and had some trigger time behind the AIAX. I like the AIAX, its comfortable to shoot and has lots of options. One thing I found out( not really a huge deal) the longer forend of the AIAX puts your bipod out further. Thats great for prone or bench shooting, but if you shoot comps or use improvised rests (Ahem K&M rocks.... :D) the position of the bipod can give you some issues.
To be honest another factor for me would be that the JAE has been few and far between, and the AIAX is a lil more available.

Good luck with the search

Interesting I've read up a little on the ax which may be my choice due to availability I checked with jae last year and had a one year lead time , I'll have to check out k&m , I shoot prone mostly in matchs at the local range

To follow up on what AS was saying. The AX platform is AWESOME if you can get a prone / semi prone position, very stable very very accurate. My gap barrels for it are all .25moa shooters when I remember how to shoot.

The problem with the stock really boils down to the grip that is between the mag well and the rail system. Its at a slight ungainly slant and the grip texture on it it can be a pain in the ass to balance on. It sucks because you can ride the plastic handguard into a object to try and get steady but the balance is awkward, or you could ram the mag well the same way, but your going to upset the ability to feed rounds unless you rebuild your position each time.

I'd stick with the manners myself as I'm very close in moving over to a T4a in the not too distant future.
