Is anyone able to signpost to a video showing how to disassemble AI bolts, both AW and AE types?

I have searched everywhere but can find nothing. The description given in manuals is fine, but once I get the quarter turn done, the whole thing refuses to move any further or disassemble.

Photos or videos appreciated.

Make sure you push the plunger in far enough.

OK, I wasn't putting it on SAFE, so now it strips easily. But, what about this type? I have two early bolts, neither of which has a safety or plunger.
The bolt shroud twists but doesn't come apart?

I’d bet that has a threaded interface like a Remington. Probably requires a tool to hold the cocking piece back. Does it twist both ways some amount and does that move the shroud towards or away from the end of the bolt?

I checked the bolt and another one the same from a 1985 PM Rifle. The bolt shroud turns quarter turn anti-clockwise until it 'unlocks' into the large recess. From there it doesn't budge.
When locked up it is tight with no lateral movement either way.

You need to keep the striker to the rear, otherwise it just rides down the clocking cam. I’m sure AI had a tool that fits their bolt. As a ghetto field method, stick something hard but non marring (brass, aluminum rod) in the hole circled below to keep the pin from falling. Once you pass the cocking cam, more than likely you’ll be home free and it will screw right off. Or just send it to AI for service.
