Should I pay the tax stamp to build an SBR AK? I already have the Draco pistol, and it is 922R compliant already. Is it worth paying 350 bucks (200 tax stamp + 150 stock) to throw on a stock? I will not be shooting this guy past 200 yards ever. I have a Docter 3.5 MOA which definitely makes it easier to shoot, but a stock would put this in a whole new level!

Re: AK SBR

I've been thinking about doing the same thing. my draco doesn't get much use as a pistol...

Re: AK SBR

I know. It really makes a ton of sense. Especially when you consider that the 7.62X39 is practically made for SBR applications. As a pistol this gun is unique, but as an SBR, this thing would really rock! Throw a shorty suppressor on here, and you have a super quiet pill launcher too (w/ subs).

Re: AK SBR

never understood dumping money into AK's, kinda like puttin a racin motor in a chevette but i digress, tapco makes a steller full line of AK acoochimonts

Re: AK SBR

AKs are amazing. They do what they do better than any gun. Don't get me wrong, I love both my ARs (6.5 Grendel, 5.56), but I really like AKs. They just will not quit, and they hit super hard too.

Re: AK SBR

Do it! I don't have one but I have always wanted one. Would make a super home defense and truck gun. I'll get there one day.
