i think you are going to end up with a lump of coal instead remember it is the government they take off a ton of days during the holidays

I hate to be the the one to give you the bad news but if it's like my form 4 that's been 5 months, I talked to my examiner Jason F. today and he stated it will be at least 6-8 weeks more due to the holidays. He has been on vacation for the last 2 weeks and will leave 12/21/11 and not return until the 2nd week in 2012. Don't get your hope's up!

There is a huge huge huge backlog of Forms at the ATF. They have a "goal" of 6 months for Forms 1 and 4. Some examiners are faster and some are not. I have not seen any paperwork in the last few weeks, and to make matters worse, the NFA lost a slew of outbound Form 3s I submitted.

Mine went pending on 28 July 12 and I had hopes of using mine for hunting season - NOT, gone past that a month now and am heading to five months real quick like. This sucks...and Christmas will slow it up more as will government workers with use/lose leave - that will not lose leave so they take it during the last two weeks normally.

We actually got an approved transfer for inventory to Bob's Pawn and Gun in Indiana on Christmas Eve!
Andrea got it packaged and shipped the same day because they had expressed a desire to have it for a show New Years weekend.

I got my Trek-T friday before Christmas, they asked me how I timed that before Christmas, I said I bout the thing in April. Timed nothing. But I am happy about it now. It was from the Gemteck Gemtax.
