Down to the last box of 123's for my son's 6.5 Grendel.

Suggestion for 600 yard (sometimes pushing it a bit further) bullet?

Nothing matches the 123's BC, and I can't see pushing anything heavier as I think 123 is about at the capacity of this cartridge's boiler room. Do I go with a lighter bullet, and push the hell out of it?

the 123 AMAX is the one to beat... but Lapua makes a 123 Scenar... and you could run a 130 Berger, too... we've even seen some folks get good results from 7 twist Grendels using 140's...

That 130 grain Berger Match VLD is a great 6.5mm bullet. I wouldn't over look it if you've got the right twist for it.

I've thought about that. Same problem with my 7-08, and the 162 Amax that Hornady has suspended. Fuckers...got me with TWO rifles...
The SST has a similar BC, I should try it. For some reason though, I've not read of anyone using these for LR target.

Nosler has a 123 CC, shot like shit. The rifle seems to really like the secant ogive bullets.
