Rifle Scopes am I missing anything? *scope selection for .308 build*

So I am again in the market for new glass to mount on my .308 build. Recently went with a Mk6 3-18 but was not overjoyed with the turrets after getting some time on it, and Leupold isn't offering any upgrade/turret swaps to the new lower height.

I'm going for a variable magnification scope with the following qualities.

FFP
mil/mil turrets/matching reticle
msr, milling, or ebr2b
quality glass
illuminated

in the running is
Vortex HD 5-20
NF NXS F1 MLR

1500-2200 $ range...

You might be able to squeeze a Steiner 5-25 with the G2 mil-dot under $2200 from the right source.
