Any Howa triggers in the works?

Any idea if any companies are planning replacement 2 stage triggers for Howa? I figured that with the growing number of Howa owners, someone would be bringing something to market. The HACT trigger is pretty decent, but I'd like an excellent 2 stage.

The thing about the HACT trigger is it can vary signicantly from gun to gun. Mine have measured from mid 2's to over 4lbs. I dropped a spring kit into the 4lb rifle. I lts now two stag and breaks at an avg 1.5lb. Not as nice as a Calvin Elite, but still pretty nice. Might be an option.

I did talk to a guy who had installed the same spring kit and he said it made his trigger very gritty. I'm of the opinion he introduced foreign material to the trigger group when he swapped springs, but know there is a possibility that changing the springs may cause gritty trigger pull.

I did put a 1.5lb spring in mine, and it's not a bad trigger, but I would like something comparable to a top end 2 stage. If Triggertech or someone made a 2 stage for it, I would bet it would sell well. I have a prototype 2 stage on a CZ that feels like it's riding on ball bearings and has an absolutely crisp 2nd stage, all with full adjustments for each stage. After playing with that I'd like something similar for my Howa.

You can trim the factory spring a bit (IIRC about 1.5 coils, but don't take that to the bank) and wind up with a damn fine trigger. I did one on a mini action and it breaks like glass right around 1 pound 3 ounces.

As single stage triggers go, the Timney is decent, but I'm not impressed with the gee-whiz lightweight Rifle Basix piece.
