My dad has always wanted a Ruger, so when this gun came up for sale I picked it up. Its a m77 mark 2 in 300 win. Mag with Leupold Vx2 6x18 and Harris bipod. There's not to many options for a stock, we both kinda wanted wood anyway so Accuracy Innovations was the best option, synthetic or wood. The barrel is the major snag. I wanted a cut rifled 5r or equivalent but I don't know any gunsmiths that can contour and chamber my 300. Any insight would be greatly appreciated by the way I'm doing this on a budget. I don't expect miracles just would like .5-.75 m.o.a.
