Eventually, I'll get a big bore rifle.

Noreen seems to be a fairly inexpensive route to get a big bore rifle (tho I don't like their flimsy looking collapsing stock.

If I get one, I'll prolly get an XLR chassis, which I love.

Anyone got a Noreen? How do they shoot?

Pics welcome!

I know it has been a while, but I couldn't help my self. I bought Kyle's (XLR) Noreen and it's a hoot to shoot. I just got everything together and time to shoot it this time home. I threw a bushnell 3200 10x on it and bore sighted it with a flashlight/wild turkey one evening late. Went back the next morning and retightened everything with the wheeler "fat bastard" torque wrench.

First shot fired was at an opposing mountain face in the Ozarks at approx. 400 yards. Wow, API is good for marking targets in solid stone! Didn't need a spotting scope for that.... It was about 18" low and 6" left. I tweaked the windage first and brought it centerline in first attempt. Two shots fired and two bright white holes in the Arkansas sandstone! I put the good lady and her friend on the elevation adjustments next.

This thing just hops up and down when you shoot, very little felt recoil at all. In four shots, we had it shooting minute of redneck at 400 yards. And it was so easy a girl could do it.

Cheers,
Breeze

Mine shot poorly and was defective and I caution you on their customer service. Nathan can't help and Scott's too busy.
Gun will not shoot 1 Moa, no safety, crazy headspace and usually won't extract unless you have a rubber mallet. If you send it back for a factory defect you pay 25% restock fee, so it was 750.00 mistake for me plus shipping it back twice and wasted Amax bullets and powder..
