Wife got a flier from the local Red Cross soliciting volunteer docs to provide service on weekends at a hospital in Haiti. Apparently it's organized by CARE and basically they'd fly her down on the weekend and transport her from the airport and then (ostensibly) bring her back Sun night. No other details were given, really.
She's sent in a couple messages with inquiries, specifically she's concerned about what supplies/facilities will be available as it does very little good for her to diagnose an infection if she has no antibiotics to administer. However I was just wondering if anyone else had worked with CARE in such a manner and if so any description of what the security and accommodations situation was like would be appreciated.
