I haven't looked through any Bushnell scopes in a long time but I have been hearing alot of good stuff about them lately. Any opinions?

Re: any opinions on the Bushnell elite 4200 scope?

I like the Elite 3200 and 4200 scopes. With the new FFP scope they announced at SHOT, they should have a very good competitor in the $900-$1000 range.

The Elite 4200 6-24x50 has very good glass and very good turrets. I would recommend them.

For Elite 4200 6-24x50
1. Glass - clear enough from 0-900 yards but they have some blur on glass edge and more blur at 24x but still find for range.
2. Turret - Good quality but 50 moa vertical adjust only, need 20 moa base for 8-900 yards,
3. Reticle- I think the reticle is too thick for benchrest but find for Tecticals use so at night time the reticle still can see.

So at its price range is still a good choice.
