Any signs of normalcy coming back in your area?

Only thing here was the drive thru car wash was reopened!
After getting the official okay from the health department.
It's a fucking drive thru car wash, nobody touches your shit.
(If you have a sticker you don't even have to roll the window down to pay at the machine)
Everything else got more restrictive.
Grocery stores, lowes, home depot, etc.

Yep, currently operating under the "new normal". And according to Dr. Fauci, the new normal might just be plain ole normal.

Yea here in San Diego home depot's are limiting people going in now, and the sherrifs are issuing tickets everywhere... Although I'm still tempted to go out the desert on Saturday to test my new steel targets

Finally found toilet paper, paper towels, etc. at Costco and Walmart today. People around here have pretty much been carrying on normally.

So glad I don’t live in an authoritarian state like CA or NY. Ticketing people for going outside? That shit would never fly around here.

Not normal until the fucking taverns re-open and people can socialize.

I am thumbing my nose at the law...fuck them.

Sunday is Easter and I am smoking a turkey and a leg of lamb and inviting two couples over. Our Governor can go stick a dildo up her ass...

You know what is driving me crazy....I would like a haircut and barbers are not essential....

All the fucking politicos seem to be properly groomed...fuckers...I'd like to rip their hair off and take their fucking scalps with it

Dude come on. All you need is a bowl and a pair of shears..fuck it, improvise, adapt, overcome.

No better in Louisiana. stay at home until 4/30, limit on people in stores, lots more face masks, and It is all you hear about!
plus we can’t go to TX or FLA without getting stoped and checked!!

Just starting to hit the town I live in. It went from one case a week ago to double digits this week with 80 or so pending. The issue now is people are having parties and there were about 100 people between the two parties which were discovered when they asked the recent person diagnosed about who he had contact with. They traced people down and one of the wife's coworkers is in quarantine because her brother went to one of the parties. I am guessing if this is as transmittable as they are saying that we will have a small outbreak in our county. The company I worked for gave me time off for being high risk and now they aren't sure they want me to come back yet since this all took place. They are deciding if I can go in after hours and work by myself or if they are giving me more paid time off.

Forgot to mention, the local parts store had a guy diagnosed with it and they closed the store, had a company in hazmat suits come in and sanitize everything so they could reopen.

I believe another month of social distancing and non-essential businesses closed here in Washington State. I believe things are tapering off a little, I live in a rural largely unpopulated area. We're up to 10 cases in the county now. Not sure if we'll see normal, whatever the hell that was. I know I won't be traveling on a jet or a cruise ship, not that I had any plans to do so anyways.

Only seen a few ppl with face masks around here (Ohio). Mostly older folks. Which I can understand. Its somewhat “normal” here. People keep their distance in stores for the most part. But lots of people are out and about. Despite the “stay at home” order.

People arent going to stay locked in their homes for weeks and months on end. Theyre just not going to do it. That is fucking dumb. Especially for “COVID-19”.

We are under a "safer at home order" that leaves almost everything open here in TN. The county next to mine just announced tonight that they will begin a two week curfew starting tomorrow night. Not sure how that's going to work in rural TN.

Now that new normal is more normal normal, stock at the grocery store is starting to rebound- some. My wife found paper towels and toilet paper on the last run, so that's a plus. More masks on more people. Cities that a few months ago likely had ordnances against face coverings in public are now passing ordinances requiring face coverings in public. Talking heads are saying "don't go to the grocery store. Don't go to the pharmacy." It's mostly less normal, though I haven't checked the local big box store for ammo in a few days. "May I see your papers" is now something of a macabre joke.

It's getting more and more like the CCCP here by the day.
This is just a "test run" for .gov. These liberal F's in this country, want it to be like this all the time. Like they keep hinting at...."It will never be normal again, this WILL be the new normal!". I know I will leave my mark, when it's time. I'm way too old for a steady diet of this shit. I've already told my wife what to put on my headstone. F wads! Mac:mad:

People still out and about in NE Oregon, despite the SIP order some are wearing masks. The wife had to go out for a scheduled blood test and said the parking lots of Walmart, Safeway and the farm supply place were pretty full. Most things available except masks and hand sanitizer. We've been going to a small butcher shop and a Mennonite grocery and they're pretty much empty. We live on a farm outside town, so we're outside a lot working around the place; getting the garden ready and general cleanup after winter. Our gun club range is still open.

Everyone around here (Southern California) is wearing masks like we got hit with a nuclear bomb. Paper products are slim, along with restrictions on meats and other items. All "non-essential" businesses are closed to include all the shooting ranges...I've been telecommuting going on three weeks and starting to get a little stir crazy...I can honestly say, I've done more brass prep and dry fire practice than ever in my life!

After seeing people in the store dressed in ppe I have to say I am sadden that I did not buy the full body condom outfit that I wanted to get . It would have made for some really funny pics waddling down each and ever Isle at the store lol . To call for a clean up in isle 4 , then lie on the ground and start flopping it would have been a funny ass sight or to forcing security to escort the giant penis from the premises when he was the same guy that when we were kids got kicked out of the same store for playing volley ball between isles with 10 other people as kids .

Went to the super market today, there was more meat and frozen vegetables etc but no TP stuff like that. The vibe was strange though... everyone wearing face masks and distances from each other.

No things aren’t normal yet
experienced the same thing here in central Pennsylvania the other day.... my grocery chain has a senior hour from 6am to 7am, have to be at least 60 yo... everyone is wearing masks, except for the employees, which I found a bit strange, they were wearing gloves however..... the aisles are now one way traffic only, which is hard for a guy like me who wanders around finding his stuff.... but the overall sense was, "let me get in and get my stuff fast and get the hell out of here".... the customers had a sense of doom and gloom about them

Here in Bell Co., Central TX it's all been not too bad other than some initial panic shit and the schools and restaurants being closed. They also have closed the parks and beaches on Lake Belton but I've got my Bass Buggy pontoon in the marina so fuck 'em, I'm going fishing today. Oh, and most all the county offices and services are shut down but I bet the bureaucrats are still getting paid.

Just issued a curfew here that starts tonight at 8 and runs til 530 in the morning.

Yep, 24 shot, 7 killed...back to normal or till the temp goes back down.

Hell, I didn't even realize things have changed. I've worked every day, including Saturdays and Sundays. I haven't been to the store in two weeks. The traffic on the interstate is near normal. I see almost no change at all, except my wife stays home now.

Personally I'm kinda liking this social distancing thing in grocery stores. One of my biggest peeves in stores is when random people come up to me and start talking to me. Anyone here at the Hide who's had the misfortune of talking to me in real life or over the phone/skype knows I'm a very social guy in spite of my autism and with chat about ANYTHING, but there's a time and place for mindless chatter and buying groceries for my family is not the time or place!

Baton Rouge traffic is very light! Very few people in grocery for senior hour. I could get use to this part of it.

I have way too many people coming to my area to "recreate", I wish they could go back to work.

Major jet airway overhead, normal times I have an aircraft flying over every 15 - 30 minutes, and honestly I don't recall seeing not even one in a couple weeks now.

Last week I went to town/grocery store for some fresh produce, went to get a bottle of Dawn for brass cleaning in my SS media tumbler. Nothing available, completely wiped out of cleaning products. However, they did have TP.

Heard today on the Denver station people are now hoarding beef, WTF? Are cows infected with the virus now?

According to Dr. Zeke Emanuel, it will be at least 18 months before things can(should) start to return to normal.
