I hope this is the right place to post this. I need a quality lapping job done on a one piece Armalite 30mm picatinny mount. It will be going on top of my new RRA 24" varmint upper and holding a Super Sniper 16x42. I am currently serving in Afghanistan and will be on leave in the July/August time frame, and I need it done during that time. Or if someone has an extra 30mm lapping rig they want to part with, let me know.

you can order a lapping kit from brownells and have it for future use. easiest way to do it without searching for someone that can help you out.

I lap all mine and have a minimum of ring marks and don't worry about having the bases(especially Leupold windage and dovetail bases) out of line.

Order a kit from Brownells and it will last forever- or until you lose it.

Shoot me a PM and you can "BORROW" mine. Sent it over to a Brother Marine in SD. I paid the shipping to him, he paid it back. Easy to use. Simple as that YES? imc8541 on here is another Brother of mine down in your area. Happy to help. And Thanks for your service youngster.

Doc, I also recommend you invest in your own lapping kit. If you decide not to buy one, I will be happy to bring you my kit along with everything you will need to get the scope mounted and bore sighted. Just shoot me PM when you get home. Thanks for your service and try to keep your head down.

Is the lapping more of a function of the base screw holes being slightly off on the receiver than the rings themselves being out of alignment? Anyway, I got the wheeler kit from Midway. Works well and was cheap.
