anyone ever had something spring in a millet gold buck 6-25x56? i had it zeroed in great the last trip to the range and i took it to the range this week and the POI was 4ft high and 2ft left. i checked every hex screw on the rings and mount but everything was still tight. i bottomed out the elevation and most of the windage and it wasnt able to center the group. it wasnt dropped or anything so i dont know whats wrong. the optic is still clear so its not a lens shift and nothing rattles inside.

remington 700 sps varmint in a choate sniper stock. the gun was dead on the last time to the range and its not a bedding problem.I put my first scope back on , 2 zeroing shots and its dead on again so its not gun or ammo

I had one, also on a SPS .308. I liked it until I brought it home from my first trip out with it. I noticed the the reticle was very out of plumb and thought I had not torqued the rings down. As there were no slip marks on the scope I looked through it again and happened to bump the eye piece and saw the reticle wobble. So...I grasped the ocular ring to adjust magnification and there it was; sloppy as hell, bouncing about, useless as tits on a bull, and nothing I could do to fix it.

I contacted hide member "Millet" and told him about it. He was decent about the whole thing, but I chose to send it back to Midway and replaced it with a Burris.

As I recall I got the Millet for around $325.00 and was disappointed as the glass and features were quite good to my plebian eye!

Their hit or miss IMHO, my LRS-1 is back at Bushnell because the focus knob just stopped working, seems like a pin had fallen out. The tracking had been dead nuts on from 100 yds to 1000 yds and back again. Until I can afford to put a $1,500.00 scope on my $900.00 rifle the Millet will have to do.
