Good Day everyone,
I know there has been some discussion about the Horus reticles in other posts, but I was curious if anyone has any feedback on the quality of the Horus scopes (glass quality, construction, durability, etc.) I was considering the Leupold MK4 with the H37 reticle for my Barrett M99, but the 2500.00 price tag is a bit out of my reach at this point. Any suggestions?

The best deal around is the Horus HDMR/H59 3.5-21x50. I have 3 of them, they are great scope for $1600.

No need for the H-37 reticle. Dial 10 or 20 mils and hold over for the rest if needed. This weekend I was shooting at a mile with mine dialed at 15.7 mils. A few weeks ago I had 20 mils dialed on and held over for the rest to make a 2400Y shot.

I like H reticles. The advice above is good, the HDMA is a great value. The regular Horus scope.... well.... 2 out a 3 ain't bad....

Re: Anyone have any experience with Horus Scopes?

Thank you for the input. I am still heavily torn. I am stuck between getting one of the horus scopes as a "just for now" application until the financial ability returns to get a Leupold or Nightforce FFP with BORS. (although that takes some of the skill out of long range shooting)
Decisions...decisions...
