A front passenger door for a 2007 Tacoma, either lightly used or new? Gotta get my buddy an unexpected Christmas present due to a miscalculation on the trails.

Down side of Tacos is spare parts are hard to find. Folks just buy the whole damn trucks out of the junkyard whenever they turn up.

Is there a reason that you didn't your entire request in the title so I don't have to waste time looking at your thread to see if I can help you???????

We had a good used Toyota parts place in Colorado Springs; contacting a friend down there to see if they are still around.

You get ahold of something for less than $1000, I'll give you 5% finder's fee. I ain't turnin' up anything.

Car-part.com
Yeah, I'm guessing $1200+ for one there before shipping. They all say $call. I'll bite that bullet if I have to, but it's gonna cause some strain. I fucked up and will make it right, but gotta look for the best deal, naturally.

Worst part is, he wants me to match the scratches up.

Moral of this story is, when you're off wheeling in the dark, maybe even while kinda drunk, keep your rear window clear and have good lighting when fuckin' tacos are around.

@Sean the Nailer - This here is the type of responsibility I believe in. He asked me if I wanted to make an insurance claim. That ain't no one's fault but mine, even though his dumbass parked behind me in a black truck when he damn well KNEW I can't see shit out the back AND I'm on a steep incline, AND maybe kinda drunk.

My repair bill is about $30 and a few minutes with a sledge hammer.

I do make some stupid ass mistakes, and it's gonna be a minute before people quit making fun of me for that. Also gonna be a minute before anyone does some dumb shit like park behind me again, too.

Call LKQ in Topeka KS. Ask to talk to Michael Powers!!! (No body else!!). Tell him Kevin at American Auto Body had you call him for a door. He’ll have access to all of LKQ’s yards across the country.

Good luck. As your finding out, Toyota salvage parts are gold! How bad is the door? Can it be repaired? Skinned perhaps?

Calling now. I appreciate the lead (y)

Boom, got one! Full door, painted, $850 even shipped.

Said it'd be here by Friday. Looks like it's coming from Colorado.

Alright, we got her installed today!

Overall time was about 3 hours. The mirror transferred no problem. The door turned out to be for a 2015 version and had different connectors than the 2007 model, so I had to transfer those, too. Also, the window was tinted (couldn't tell beforehand because the window was rolled down). Not a big deal, but we may swap the window out later on, or tint the other one.

The only thing that didn't work was the passenger side window control which was swapped from the old door. Not sure what the deal is, there. Might have just gone bad at some point. It rarely got used.

The 3rd pic is of the main connector swap. The 4th is the window button control. The pinout on the 2015 connector had white/blue opposite of white/blue on the 2007 so I just flipped 'em around.

That little folded portion on the bottom left of the door got straightened out, too, but I didn't take a pic of that.

Soldering is probably one of the most useful skills I've ever picked up, besides programming.
