Anyone use big daddy unlimited? Sounds like a porn site, but they’re selling the selling themselves as the Costco of guns and gear. They charge $9.99/month and supposedly you have access to product at dealer like costs. Is this a gimmick or legit?
Forgot to mention how bad the website is. Just because you search for it and get no results doesn't mean it's not there. It probably has some ridiculous name in their system or is flat out named wrong. I've corrected countless listings for them. Sometimes you have to search by part number or SKU.I'm a member and have used it. Review above is pretty spot on. Shipping is not always the fastest. Website interface sucks. If what you're looking for isn't listed you can call or email and most likely they can get it. Email responses are pretty darn fast.
It seems more of a hassle.Forgot to mention how bad the website is. Just because you search for it and get no results doesn't mean it's not there. That's for you to decide sir. Like I said, for 99 cents you won't be wasting much to check it out. Their Athlon prices are unbeatable. I've found the same to be true for Triggertech and their small selection of chassis. It seems more of a hassle.
I've spent plenty of money there with no issues.Huh! They don’t even list Athlon as one of their brands and their website doesn’t even have a search feature to look it up.
Setup does not instill much confidence in me. Good luck to those trying it out. I would be apprehensive of even sharing my credit card info with them.
I use them often. Browsing the site sucks because items aren't categorized very well and filtering options are pretty sparse. Searching by part number is most efficient. They probably lose a lot of sales simply because people can't find something.
I like to browse by brand, but its even hard to find a way to do that on the site, so I use this link https://www.bigdaddyunlimited.com/brands/
They drop ship most items from RSR and a couple of other distributors. FYI, a lot of gun stores drop ship from RSR out of Texas.
The pricing on the bulk of their parts is the best you will find on the internet though.
For most purchases, if B&M's are within 10% of an online discounter, my money goes to the B&M's. They'll do a much better job supporting you too.....
Conversely, I buy my reloading components online and I shop based on price. Primary reason is that the local B&M's just don't have what I want and to special order through them is a 50% premium.
I try to support my local shops also. But the only local reloading store we have has insane markup. I buy small things every now and then. But they sell 8lb jugs of H4350 for $280 when I can get it online for $220 or less.
I was on the fence about trying them out, but I just tried that link on the brands and I was 0-12 searching ?
DO NOT even sign up… They’re semi-legit. Yes, they are a real company, but it’s ran by scumbags. They’ll keep charging you $10 every month even after you cancel the membership. They pulled that shit on me for about 3 extra months, until I caught them, and reported it to my bank, and still had the cancellation email in my inbox with a date on it for proof. The bank had to manually block any future transactions from them.Anyone use big daddy unlimited? Sounds like a porn site, but they’re selling the selling themselves as the Costco of guns and gear. Conjecture is that the ATF is getting the info from shipping companies…Did anyone ever figure out if BDU was giving the ATF customer info on those that bought RBTs?
