Rifle Scopes Anyone with the Vortex Viper 3.5-10x50?

Never had a 50mm objective before, hope it doesn't look too "huge"...
It came down to the Vortex or the SS 10x42 to stay in my price range. The Vortex is on closeout and it looked like a great deal; I know the SS have a great rep here but I just wasn't sure about a fixed 10x. I pulled the trigger on the Vortex.

I did a search but didn't see any comments for this particular scope, so just checkin...

Well I don't have that specific model but I do have the 6.5 x 20 x 50mm model and it is a great scope in that price range. It has some pretty clear optics. I use it on my 223 Bolt rifle and it tracks well and clear through the magnification ranges. I couldn't ask for anything more from a $400 scope. You made a good purchase and I am sure you will be happy with it.

I have 3 Vortex Vipers all were purchased on the closeout sale and I think you are going to be happy. I saw the scope on clearance for $250 with a Duplex retical and almost pulled the trigger myself.

I have 3 of the 2 x 7 by 32mm Vipers after purchasing one I quickly pulled the trigger on the other 2. Great scopes and a great sale.
