So I just picked up my SPR/M4 last night. The directions say that when installing the Blackout suppressor mount, to use the included Rockset. I'm assuming this is a thread locking compound. However, I bought the BO mount used, so there is not Rockset. Can I just use a high strength Locktite?

Loctite breaks with heat. Rocksett will not. Considering how hot your suppressor can get, I would generally always use the rockset. But in all the years I have been using cans, and installing muzzle devices the proper amount of torque is usually enough to get the job done. One drop of rockset is all you will ever need.
