Thought I would share a method for getting atmosphere data for a ballistic calculator. I use Ballistic AE on an iPod touch. The I-pod touch can't access the NOAA feature in Ballistic AE since its not a phone. I found an app for pilots called Pilot Wiz that provides all the weather data available to pilots including Density Altitude, wind, humidity etc. it does a lot more but the weather function is all I use. The way I use it is to find the closest local airport with its search feature and it pulls in the weather data. I look at the DA value and plug it in to Ballistic AE, then go shoot! Here is a screen shot of my local airport:

I have found it to be very useful. I just pull in the weather data before I leave my wifi network. But even if I had an I-Phone I would probably still use it.
