AR Gold Trigger won't fit in SIG 716

I very recently purchased a SIG 716 Patrol. Stock trigger was real bad. Read great things about the AR Gold 308 trigger so ordered one from Brownell's. Upon arrival I found that the AR Gold Trigger had an extension on it that point back at the safety. There is a solid wall in the SIG 716 receiver that will not allow the AR Gold Trigger to fit into the trigger well. Since I've been very happy with Geissele triggers in the past I went with a new DMR instead. I'm very happy with the Geissele. It was an easy drop in and adjust.

Keep up the updates with the trigger. Next thing I want to do is a trigger job on my 716. here is a picture of my baby

I don't want to sound like an ass, BUT you don't have to post a picture of your rifle every time you post something. We get it, you're proud of it.

I purchased a sr gold trigger for my lr style rifle. The upper and lower receivers wouldn't fit so I had the gunsmith look at it and he said the trigger was the problem. Did some grinding and it's good to go now

That's too bad about the AR Gold trigger, BTW I'm getting a SIG 716 and will probably go with the Geissele DMR, what "pin" size did your order? and does the trigger come with 3 different spring weights? I was looking over at Rainer, is this the trigger?

Unlessyou have a Colt lower, you want the "small pin" trigger.
