Armalite APA Tactical Bipod

Saw this on the net. Looks odd, but could be fun. Does anyone have one? Would you recommend it for competition shooting or target shooting?

I have 1 on an AR30 I just bought. It's a very well built bipod, very very sturdy. I don't do competition shooting, just target and it's great. I need a rear monopod now.
