Sidearms & Scatterguns ASP anyone?

As a former armed guard here in 'Vegas I carried my Glock 17 and pepper spray on my duty belt but I also carried an ASP.

It's fast, telescoping deployment once stopped a Mexican construction worker from "crowding" me as I searched for a battery he had stolen. I ended up hooking him up and escorting him off property after I located the hidden battery.

Amazing what the sight of an ASP whipping out to full length will do to change minds.

I once accidentally dropped a mag-lite down the hole on an ice fishing trip. Amazing how many fish I still didn't see with a mag-lite shining away on the bottom.

Not so much for EDP, really intox, or those under the influence of heavy narcotics. In those cases, there are better options.

It gets way more use moving snakes and knocking on doors.

An ASP can be quite useful when one is well trained. A 21in Asp can really get attention fast,when other options just may be a bit much
