Suppressors ATF to Halt NFA Batch Processing, Re-Design eForms System

What does batch filing Really mean??

Does that mean that they just file dozens of forms one right after another, or does that mean that they have some program written that is akin to a burst transmission that compresses the forms into one application?

If its the first, how can the BATF stop that? Are they going to say than each dealer is limited to 10 applications per day for example??

Batch processing is a technical term describing the way the ATF's infrastructure is built with respect to the application approval process. Batch processing refers to a predefined number of apps being run through approvals at the same time in an effort to speed up the entire process by automating as much as possible and removing human intervention as much as possible. All input parameters are predefined through custom code. It's complicated and requires competency which is probably why the govt is having issues setting up the system correctly. It's very common in the private sector and is essentially the norm when it comes to electronic data processing methodologies.... Looks like wait times will be back to over a year before long!

Thanks for the technical ed jasonfaz. Hope your not right about things going up to a year wait for efile. That would just SUCK. I thoght that efile would speed up things.I forgot about that obama care website blow job. LOL

Haha! I know it brotha. I've got a couple cans going on 13 months myself. Maybe we can get Ted Cruz or Rand Paul to de-NFA this stuff in a couple years. If that happened I might be broke, but I'd be able to die a happy man....
