Atlas bi-pod question

OK, can an Atlas bipod be mounted on a stud, or do you need a rail ?

You need a rail unless you're mounting it on an AI chassis.

I havent seen one on anything besides a rail or spigot mount... BUT if you can get ahold of a rail that mounts to a stud you could toss one on there pretty easy. Not sure I would like that route, but It might be worth a thought.

The harris ones work well on the studs though. Not as good as an atlas, but plenty workable.

Thanks guys . I ordered a Manners earlier and could not decide between the rail or a stud and Matt said he was 85% sure the Atlas would work on the stud, so that is what I ordered . Oh well. I already have a Harris. I guess I just saved about $300 . Lol
