So how about it anyone put any decent amount of time in behind one of them? Im starting to collect components for a new .308 project and while I would prefer the A2 version, trying to find one in stock has been a futile attempt at best. plus the A5 version is priced fairly well considering the options.

And before anybody asks im not looking at McMillan or Manners on this one, id rather spend money on reloading components. If the reviews on the A5 dont sound all that promising Ill wait to find a A2 go for the McMillan.

Thanks,

-john

Re: B&C Tactical A5 Stock reviews??

IT IS VERY HEAVY!!!!! about the same as a AICS 2.0

It is also very adjustable! and VERY solid!

You will need to sand down the barrel channel a tad to knock down the paint they use, the paint is kinda thick so it will touch the barrel, but it will not take you more than 5 minutes to do with some 300 grit paper.

Other than that, skim bed the thing the second you get it and shoot the fuck out of it.

usmc,

thanks for the info. Solid is one thing I wanted to hear. Im having mixed thoughts on it tho. One time ill look at it and love the design, then other times Ill look at it like wtf were they thinking. But hey if the ergonomics are real good then thats what matters.
