Kinda shocking, I can easily imagine being there was an emotional experience.
Similar images of the buildings I've seen in the last quake in L'Aquila. There is concrete, but there is no steel inside.
On the builders defense, there's the fact that that's hardly a quake zone.

Re: Back From Haiti

Thank you for the thoughts and prayers.

You can donate on our website through paypal.

Faminerelieffoundation.com

Money is being used several ways:
Restock food for our orphanage
Medical supplies mostly antibiotics bandages and pain meds
We are still treating the wounded but now for infections an re-dressing

We treated over 2000 at our clinic so far. We do not charge for treatments, meds or transport to hospitals. It is an incredible drian on our resourses.

All money goes to Haiti-- We dont get paid here in the US.
I pay my full time staff of 9 - 315 per week at Mission Ranch.

This link will show you our Orphanage and the damage we sustained.
It also shows the level of injuries that streamed into our clinic.

A seismologist on the news said the last major quake in Haiti was circa 1790.

Re: Back From Haiti

I was standinging in a building at 6:10 am during the 6.1 aftershock on Wednesday the 30th.
It scared the crap outta me. My legs were shaking like a newborn calf.
To this moment I still dot know how the building did not come down. It shook and shimmied like jello.
