Badger FTE brake for my 700P .300WM?

This is the last item needed to complete my "little" 700P project. A muzzle brake. With all the praise you folks have thrown it's way, I decided to go with the Badger FTE.

Looking for recommendations as to who can not only provide the brake, but also provide the necessary smithing as well as lop a couple inches off the barrel.

I'd love to stay local to the Twin Cities area of Minnesota if possible. However... I could have the barreled action shipped out in a heartbeat if needed.

well since badger and GAP share a work space I'd send it there to GAP, and believe turn around on a job like that is still a week or less...........

I am sure that any competent gunsmith will be able to do that for you. I would not hesitate to send it to GAP. I had that on my 300 WM build by GAP and loved it.

I had mine done at GAP. If you haven't already, don't buy the FTE and send it to GAP, they will sell it to you cheaper than you can get it from Badger or anywhere else at retail price. Turnaround from GAP was about 3 weeks. I also had them lop off two inches from my bbl. Their work was flawless--cut, crowned, and threaded.
