I am seriously considering buying a TBAC suppressor for my .338lm once my refund check comes back. I currently have a Badger FTE brake on the rifle. I am not sure weather I want a direct thread or brake mount suppressor. If I go with the brake mount how does the TBAC brake compare to the FTE. With the FTE I can shoot comfortably all day as long as my wallet an afford it. I plan on taking the rifle elk hunting later this year with my father in law so I am not sure if I can hunt with the suppressor or not yet.

dont have a comparison to the badger FTE brake, but when i put the TBAC brake on my 308, it made a huge difference. immediately noticeable with less felt recoil and muzzle rise.

Our take is that it's not quite as effective the large FTE or AI 2-chamber brake, but it's a good brake and good for "all day shooting" in our view. The BA brake is limited in overall size because it has to fit inside the suppressor and interact with the suppressor favorably when its mounted.
