Besides 5rd mag and bedding pillars with the Badger, is the quality honestly that much better? Or are there other issues with the PTG? And from a couple of old posts I found the PTG is not exactly a perfect match to the M5 inlet? Sounds like it may fit but has some gaps/slop?

I ordered the PTG stealth and it came with pillars and bolts, also fit the M5 inlet perfectly. No complaints so far!

Issues with PTG besides their horrible customer service, and showing items in stock when they actualy aren't? No, I haven't had any issues with them. Their bottom metal fit my Grayboe stock with the M5 inlet perfect. Stocky's also has bottom metal at reasonable prices FYI.

PTG makes good stuff. I've ordered items and got them in a few days. I've also ordered, never received shipping notifications, had several weeks pass and then it shows in the mail.

In a word, nothing. I purchased PTG stealth bottom metal and sent my stocks off to Badger for the M5 inlet. The turn around was about a week. The PTG bottom metal dropped right into place. I just don't see how companies can charge $300+ for bottom metal.

The ptg dbm works fine. The anodizing is total garbage. Might as well just used a permanent marker. Ive seen one with a large lip of uncut material on the trigger end. Would have needed filed off to fit in the inlet of the stock. You have to watch that the larger OD of the exposed mag well part does not contact the stock and bottom out before contacting the pillars.

I have 3 PTG bottom and they all fit an M5 inlet perfect. No complaints. Wouldn’t ever think of spending the extra money on a badger. Same thing for half the cost.
