Im looking into building something in 300 win mag onto an AICS 2.0 long action chassis i recently acquired and was wondering if its at all possible to acquire the badger ordnance actions or if its more of a cross your fingers and hope you find a reasonably priced action on the second hand market type of deal

For the most part, it's hope you can find one. Also, the badger action is flat...both the 2008 and 2013. The AICS is round. You'll have to find a gunsmith to mill the AICS to fit the badger action. Finding a gunsmith to do that is not a super simple exercise.
The AICS has become fairly valuable these days. You should sell that. Buy an AT and put thumb hole skins on it. You’d probably be money ahead in the end, and you’d have the real deal.

Im not a fan of how the new at rifles look which is a major driving factor in pursuing what guns I get.
