so I'm torn.
do I be patient for the PVA or spring for the Havak now?
I expect both to be stellar values and excellent rifles - and as I live in MN the likelihood of getting to see either let alone spend time shooting either before purchase is unlikely.
On paper they are very similar - I believe they both use OEM Rock Creek barrels and Timney triggers. I've shouldered the Magpul hunter and it's ok, but I could always swap out chassis....

I realize comparing a product that isn't our yet isn't necessarily straight forward, but I'm still a noob regarding long range shooting and don't have a ton of experience with either company (I have several sets of Seekins rings, they are excellent).

I wouldn't say they equally compare on paper - 70* vs 90* bolt throw, 3 vs 2 lugs (they call it 4 lugs, but they are in-line), better extractor, bolt-face switch outs, etc. I handled both at SHOT, Hancock hands down. No comparison in innovation, features, smoothness and feel.
