Bank of Americas stock quote for the last 5 days. The highlighted line is the day that this happened.

In my opinion, the zealot usually harbors a hidden weakness.

B of A infers that it defends the high ground.

I suspect that a more detailed review of its practices and entities it prefers to do business with will disclose just how much they do or don't deserve to claim the moral imperative.

Re: Bank of America to McMillan, we don't want you

After 39 years with what become BOA after mergers, we are now moving operations to Boeing credit union.

I don't work at Boeing, but anyone can use the non profit Boeing Credit Union.

The banks were told by Obama that they can't charge big interest for credit cards unpaid balance. So they try to make money every other way with new fees.

Screw 'em.
There are cheaper ways to get your banking done.

Re: Bank of America to McMillan, we don't want you

It's no surprise. Banking is controlled by the New World Order and world "elite" types and they are pushing very hard for civilian disarmament ("gun control")!

Re: Bank of America to McMillan, we don't want you

I think the dogpile is about to start. The Canadian news group Sun News Network and the Military Times (Marine Times, Navy Times, Army Times, etc.) have picked it up now. The Miltary Times is owned by Gannett Media who own USA Today and numerous TV & radio stations.

Here's a start:

BofA's Fakebook page is imploding. McMillan's Facebook is quite the opposite.

Re: Bank of America to McMillan, we don't want you

we have closed our account and CC with BoA already, credit union was very happy to pick up the account.

Re: Bank of America to McMillan, we don't want you

I hope a rep from bank of america reads this thread... That article is crazy graywolf...Fuck these clowns

Re: Don't Cancel BEFORE redeming points for $

I've already received my NRA VISA card and am waiting on BofA to <span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #FF0000">CASH IN</span></span> my points before formally terminating my credit card relationship.

<span style="font-weight: bold"><span style="color: #FF0000">NOTE: If you just cancel, the redemption-of-points-for-cash opportunity is forfeited. Really!!! Had I not reached a very polite and knowledgeable rep who tipped me off, I would have just cancelled and been out - in my case $80. Heads up! </span></span>

Re: Don't Cancel BEFORE redeming points for $

Seems to me, that B.o.A. is starting to sound more and more like it stands for:

Bank of Adolf

Re: Don't Cancel BEFORE redeming points for $

B of A's problem is that the management culture really BELIEVES that we peons are lucky to be able to avail ourselves of their awesome services, and we should be grateful and smack our lips while we eat the peanuts out of their shit. They don't care about the customers, and they don't care about their own employees. It was crazy - CRAZY - of them to buy Countrywide, and the even crazier to buy Merrill, and then on top of it authorize Thein to loot Merrill for executive bonuses after the buyout.

Re: Don't Cancel BEFORE redeming points for $

I have a BOA card thru Bass Pro I need to swap that money to a new card. What company would you guys look into for a funds swap to get out from under BOA.

Re: Bank of America to McMillan, we don't want you

By some BofA Shares, go to the stockholders' meetings, give Brian a run for his money.

Re: Bank of America to McMillan, we don't want you

I just confirmed that BoA’s check (to cash out my World Points) had cleared, called and cancelled my VISA card account with them, and shredded the card.

Of note… once I identified the reason I was cancelling the card, I was immediately transferred to a BofA representative (one Elaine Higgins) who was VERY knowledgeable about the McMillan account termination matter. She was ADAMENT that the account relationship with McMillan was NOT being terminated because they are a firearms manufacturer. When I said I had no reason to disbelieve Mr. McMillan, she proceeded, in good order, to process my cancellation request.

Communications problem, “rogue” local VP, or?

This is probably the best way to get BofA's attention.

Re: Bank of America to McMillan, we don't want you

Why would anyone use a bank where you have to pay them?

I've been with a cr edit union for 40 years, I tried a bank once and it cost me $200 in 6 months, albeit one error was mine one theirs.

Went back to my credit union.

Did you know, not ONE credit union went under during the Great Depression?

Re: Bank of America to McMillan, we don't want you

Cashed out my world-points, and cancelled the card yesterday.

Some chick who sounded 20 asked for a reason for cancellation, and I stated, "Your anti-2nd amendment policies, specifically your treatment of McMillan Inc". She typed something to this effect, and ended the call with a confirmation less than 2 minutes later.

So much for that BofA themed McM A5 stock I had in mind.

Re: Bank of America to McMillan, we don't want you

I'd be a lot more interested in being able to tell BofA which bank got my business when I cancelled my BofA account. Got any good ones?

What's the NRA's stance on BofA and are they recommending any other banks instead?

Greg

I wondered the same thing. I checked the site and the only thing that I could find was an article describing the situation and saying that they were still investigating their practices.

Re: Bank of America to McMillan, we don't want you

Greg:

As I mentioned several posts up in this thread, the NRA VISA card (online application page is http://www.nraaccounts.com/nra/) is issued through First National Bank of Omaha. They are neither owned by nor in any way affiliated with BofA. Their site is https://www.firstnational.com/001/html/en/personal/personal.html From their web site, they seem to offer a relatively typical range of services, including small business and commercial.

Re: Bank of America to McMillan, we don't want you

Thank you; I failed to communicate (missed your message) on your earlier post.
