I have the opportunity to buy a M90 (predacessor to the m95) for 5800. Theres very little info that I can find regarding them or what they're worth and if its worth having over waiting for a used DT HTI or Steyr HS50

on another note, go buy my m99 so I can buy any of the above lol

Like most things, it’s worth what you are willing to pay. That price is almost double what they cost new and they stopped making them in 1995. If you are looking for a bolt-action 50, there are better options out there but if bullpup is your thing, you are limited. I have a 99 and it’s a good rifle but being a single shot, many don’t like them. My bolt-action 50 is from EDM but that is also too long and heavy (weight is a good thing) for many. I have shot a DT a few times but a 20 pound 50 BMG is not something you want to spend a lot of time behind, at least not for me.

The market is so jacked I have no idea what a good deal is anymore. I paid under $7k for both 82's that I bought and $3200 for my 99 but that was a while ago. I never did a 95 because they were so close in price to the 82. HIndsight being what it is I'd probably rather have one than my 99.

I have no idea if that's a good deal as I've never even heard of the 90. Are you looking for a good working rifle or a collector item? I'm not a huge fan of paying top dollar for discontinued stuff as parts and service might be problematic. Maybe that's not an issue if there is a lot of commonality with the 95 but it's worth looking into.

I am currently in the process of buying the HTI linked above
