Movie Theater Battlefield Bad Company 2

So far this game is pretty good. Team death match on the Arica Harbor map with the M24 SWS is by far the best Opportunity for a fun sniper match.
Anyone else try the game yet whatcha think of sniping on Arica Harbor?

It's definitely a fun game to do some sniping in. Unlike MW2, you can be killed and have no idea where it came from. If you like to snipe play hardcore mode, it gets rid of the killcam and all of the bolt actions are one shot kill. I played the demo and it seems like they took alot of the bullet drop out of the final game.

Does hc mode have the orange enemy indicators? Haven't tried it yet. Regular mode does take 2. Shot kills. Unless it's a headshot then it's 1 shot kill

I just bought it, and only have played the Campaign right now. Must say I'm a bit disappointed in it. Where did all the humor and fun stuff the original BC had. Plus the campaign is short. I think I beat it, on hard, in like 3 hours. And its a little more linear than the first. I liked the huge sandbox area that you could drive in forever.

Of course, the Battlefield series is all about the online play. When I get back to the states Ill try it out. Hope it doesn't disappoint like the campaign.

Good call on the missing humor I thought I was the only one who noticed how fkin funny bc1 was!!! Bc2 was not so into it's characters this time in single player. The trade off is a much more polished online multiplayer and pretty awesome sniping online on a couple of the bigger maps. I tried hardcore team death match and it's 1 shot 1 kill So much better than regular cores 2hit requirement.
Monkey your correct about the bullet drop being taken out. The longest shots on the map are still only 1/4 to 1/2 mil holdovers if that.

Just got it. Working through the campaign and looking forward to some online.. I did enjoy the UAV helo mission too.

Yeah, the only thing I laughed at was when they made the crack about "douche bags with heart beat sensors on their weapon."
