Gunsmithing Bedding a Ruger Alaskan, couple of questions

My McMillan Ruger Mk II Hunter stock just came, and I plan to bed a Ruger Alaskan/375 Ruger to it. This action uses one front screw, plus two for the separate trigger guard.

The Hogue OEM stock had pillars for the first and last screws only. Any recommendations on whether I should pillar bed all three, or just the two end screws?

Any other recommendations? The front screw goes in at 45 degrees.

The front screw is angled at 60+ degrees. I have my Ruger M77 Target bedded on a full length solid aluminum billet and I tourque the middle screw to 5+ "/lbs. If you put a pillar under the middle screw, it will have to be wery thin, couple of millimeters if that is even possible. Just go with the front and rear pillars.

Thanks for the tips. I went back and looked at both stocks, and see what you mean. I will order a machined pillar kit from Brownells to start this project.
