bedding???

im about to purchase a b&c a2 for my remington 700 sps tactical. in a recent topic i posted some said to bed it. does it need bedding or just drop in, tighten it down and start shooting?

I am not familiar with your particular stock but if it has a aluminum bedding block installed for your action you can simply drop it in and start shooting.

Try the latter first, then the former second if you aren't happy off the bat......

I have that stock on one rifle and ended up bedding only directly behind the recoil lug for better contact.

Devcon 10110 steel putty will set you up. Go to the Gunsmithing section and read the bedding sticky there.
