Bergara B14 Hodge Podges?

So I keep going back and forth between the Bergara Ridge SP and the Bergara HMR (I want the shorter barrel but like the HMR chassis). Looking on Gunbroker today I see a Bergara HMR SP which according to the Bergara site doesn't exist. So what's the word on these is it special contract guns from Bergara to certain gun stores or is it stores taking and putting their own guns together and calling it something new? I've seen it done with other Bergara models on there too and its had me curious.

Did you message the seller and ask them if it was a Bergara exclusive/special, or something they put together themselves?

Very intriguing offering though...too bad it is $200 more than the Ridge SP (guess that's the mini-chassis stock for ya).

Yup I sent a message, no reply yet. I thought I had remembered seeing a thread on it here a couple months back for a similar offering but I couldn't find it in my searching. It gets me the barreling I want for the same price as the HMR without having to pay to send it off to be chopped and threaded again.

Official word from the seller is they are assembled in store using a Ridge SP and a HMR stock. They are officially approved by Bergara with the factory warranty and Bergara is planning on introducing this model in 2020 to their line.
