Best 308 barrel for $350.00 and Under

I am looking to pick up a decent barrel for my build. I have a budget of $350.00 tops. As of right now I set this budget because I will be buying a LMT MWS and LWRC REPR when I move out of CA next year. For the Length wise 18-20 would be perfect for me.

So far im considering:
Mega Arms @ $315.00
SASS 18" @ $233.00
Rainier Arms @ 300-315.00

Any other options?

I have a 18in backhole weaponry barrel and it shoots sub moa at 100yards easily, ill buy another for my next build.

I would give Lothar Walther USA a call and see what they can do price wise (I assume it would be close to $350 for something with LW-50 steel and their non poly rifling).

people have had good results with the mega barrels and the rainiers have a 30 day satisfaction guarantee. DPMS barrels are okay but some of them leave with short headspace, don't make that great of velocity and the profiles are super heavy.

rainier and mega will shoot with lmt and lwrc.


some dpms barrels will shoot, but it a dice roll.
