I'm looking to pick up an AE Mk3 in the near future. Preferably in 6.5 Creed or .260 Rem. MHS only seem to have .308 in stock and Europtic was the only other place I could find them listed. Are there other AI dealers that have good deals and are reputable? I'm not in a rush, so am happy to wait on stock to come in or have it built.

Does Europtic or anyone else do Hide discounts or dot Mil discounts?

Thanks in advance.

Call Mile High, and as for Dave Buick he will take care of you.

Every time I end up calling or e-mailing Jason at eurooptic.com, I end up buying something. He is a great guy to deal with and will hook you up. They have a discount too. It is a minimum of 5% and a lot of the time more. The discount also applies to everything I have ever asked about. Mile High does not offer their discount on all items... Like bullets, but it does apply to AI products.

Get the 308 version and buy the barrel of your choice directly from AI. The price to upgrade the barrel on the rifle is basically the cost of the new barrel ($660 from AI) so you have two barrels for the same price. You should be able to snag a MKIII folder with brake for about $3100. Any more than that and I'd wait for the AT, they should be shipping soon.

I have been waiting for some good deals from people looking to step up to the AT but no luck yet. I'm wanting a MKIII with a .260 barrel for the wife.

I bought a 26" .260 AE from Eurooptic a couple of months ago. Out of the box with hand-loaded 120 Lapua Scenars it shoots 1/2" groups with three different powders. Since the longer barrel doesn't come threaded, I had it threaded for a TBac suppressor/brake. I have a lot of rifles, this is quickly becoming a favorite.
