Strip away the polling, campaigning, and the seemingly wholesome American small town atmosphere that the 90s Democrats always tried to portray during their campaigns of the time, and one will see that they operate more as an organized crime entity than a political party that sticks to American ideals and the American system of rule and power transfer. And what do organized crime hate the most? Citizens being armed living in their spheres of influence. Even the organizations that primarily deal in weaponry, like some of the Central American and Indonesian cartels, do not really like citizens on their turf being armed...
