Big Spring TX????

This pretty much sums it up...

Nearest "mountains" are the Davis Mtns a couple hours south. You could do Guadalupe Nat'l Park a few hrs west. Some pretty tough hiking there...

Carlsbad Caverns over in NM...

No canyon carving in that part of the world.

Momma was born in Lubbock. So was her dad.
Might find a friendly soul or two let ya murder some pigs if they have em that far west.
They like good conservative boys who like rifles in that part of TX. At least me!

Haha! I'm 2.5hr East of big spring. Mineral Wells has rock climbing, like someone else said Palo Duro is cool. I thought there was another state park by Ranger also. Can't remember the name of it right now.

Worked and lived out there from 2013 to 21015. Not a lot to do. its a 30 min drive to midland.

Hotel Settles is a great place to stay. Good Bar "The Pharmacy" and decent food at the restaurant.
Comanche park on the south side of town off Hwy 87 is a decent time kill.
Hanger 25 Museum is neat. old planes. Its by the Air port.
that's about it.
