Billet uppers and handguard fitting issues?

I know this is a broad question, but has anyone experienced fitting issues with Billet AR uppers when installing certain brands of handguards?

I ask because I ordered a Geissele MK14 and I was debating on ordering a set of Battle Arms Dev. upper/lower combo but I have read several people say the fancy billet rec. can be finiky with what will work. I emailed BAD over a week ago and asked direct and they never bothered to respond!

A lot of handguards have anti rotation tabs. Some receivers are wider up front not letting the tabs fit. Easy fix is find a new handguard or grind off the tabs.

Cant beat the deal right now from JSE Surplus on their MEGA Billet upper and lower. Tightest fitting AR15 set I've owned at blowout pricing.

I dont have any issues running various handguards but yea Geissele has the anti rotation set screws. Grind them off or go SLR, Seekins, etc.
