Have read on Internet searchs that this is THE 30rd mag to have for reliable use in my 10/22. Hasn't been imported since Pre-Ban years. All steel construction, with a mag well adaptor that secures the mag with the Ruger's mag catch. Am being offered an absolute mint example still in factory wrap locally, but the asking price is high ($150). I have read Internet postings of several of these selling for over $300 ?? What would an old-time 10/22 fanatic say/?? Thanks in advance !! Joe

The Bingham mags work really well. I think $150 is still a little high. I don't have $150 for all the mags and adapters in the photo. I still see the mags at gun shows in the $50-$60 range but haven't seen an adapter for quite some time. The mags used to be only $5 though Gun Parts but one of the companies that makes .22 conversions for AR's and Mini-14's bought them all up.

If you decide to buy the mag your were offered and you want a copy of the original instructions, I can scan the instructions I have and email it to you.

Thanks for the response 168. I can also find listings for the mags alone (on the Internet) being offered for $60-70 (but those listings were several years old, none currently). I DID see that Numrich has a used adapter for $49.95. What I'm being offered is a mag with an adapter NIB (It has the paper work, but thanks for the offer). The mags are supposed to be the same ones that are used for the Ceiner caliber conversion kits.

That is where they went. Could buy that one, then buy ciener mags to cut out of his adapters. I love my butler creek mags though so I don't see the point in plunking that kind of $$ on a 22 magazine. there are the magazines from tactical innovations that are adjustable and rebuildable if longevity is what you're after. They were madein plastic and aluminum.
